If you don’t have time or are feeling ambitious (or both), though, feel free to create your own custom template. To do so, simply log into blogger, click on Design and then Edit HTML. Once there, copy and paste your code into a new post or page; remember to save!
Adding Google Analytics
One of my favorite tools for landing pages is Google Analytics. While other analytics programs have unique benefits, such as Radian6’s ability to help you understand how your message resonates on social media, nothing matches Google Analytics when it comes to providing detailed information about specific pages.
You can track page views over time and determine which day of week or time of day seems to be most fruitful for clicks and conversions. To get started, just install it on your website and let it run for at least one month;
then go back and check out which days received most traffic, how long each visitor stays on your site, etc. And remember: The more you know about what’s working well for your landing page, the easier it will be to make it better.
Adding social media links
Your landing page is complete, but your readers will be more likely to follow through on your call-to-action if they can easily connect with you on social media. Head over to Google and search for free social media icons and download as many as you need for each network you’re active on.
Next, upload them all into an image editor and crop them down so that each one is only 33 x 33 pixels in size. This makes it easy for you to find space for them on your landing page. Once they’re saved in their own layer, simply select each one individually and set its blending mode to screen.
This will make sure that whatever color is already behind that icon shows through instead of covering it up like a normal layer mask would.
Add calls-to-action (CTA)
A landing page is one of those online marketing terms that can make your eyes glaze over. But if you’re promoting an upcoming event, product launch or special deal and want to convert browsers into buyers or subscribers, landing pages are a key ingredient in your conversion-optimization strategy.
Landing pages should be easy to understand and easy just to do what you want them to do—which usually means adding your desired action (such as registering for an event or making a purchase).
To create a free landing page on blogger, add 1. A Title: as well as 2. Desired Action: sections into your post below. You can use these sections for additional details about what you want people visit your page for.

This is an example of a landing page made in blogger. I added some elements, using css and google fonts, but for most part you can use default design as it is.
Landing pages are basically designed for lead generation or product promotion, not necessarily both. They allow potential customers or subscribers to provide their name and email addresses in exchange for something free from your company, usually that free gift could be ebook or video training etc. which will help him decide whether he should take next step and purchase your product(s).
I prefer using landing pages when promoting my products because then it’s easier to control content quality and leads generated by said traffic coming from such promotional campaign.
